Moose M. Scheib, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Scheib is a business consultant specializing in loss mitigation, private placements, homeowner retention, and corporate strategy development. While serving as Mizna’s Chairman & CEO, he co-founded Aleph Advisors, a boutique advisory firm. Prior to co-founding LoanMod.com, Mr. Scheib practiced corporate law at the international law firm of Proskauer Rose in New York City, clerked in the New York State Supreme Court, and interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York. He has been featured in various publications including Forbes Magazine, Crain’s Detroit Business, America.gov (U.S. State Department Publication), and the Detroit Free Press. Mr. Scheib received his bachelors in Economics and Management from Albion College where he played football and was a team captain for four years. He received his Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School where he was a staff member of the Columbia Business Law Review. Mr. Scheib’s notable contribution to various articles and publications include: The Essential Role of Securities Regulation (Duke Law Journal, February 2006). He is the recipient of the 2004 Raymond Jallow Award for Public Service and is a member of the Connecticut Bar.
Jesse T. Clapham
Prior to joining LoanMod.com, Mr. Clapham was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co.. During his seven year tenure, Mr. Clapham worked in the firm's Security Services division. The Division is responsible for traditional and synthetic financing for alternative investment vehicles, as well as the facilitation of short sale transactions. Most recently, Mr. Clapham managed the Product Development organization. The team was responsible for providing investment managers with the tools and services necessary to help them focus on managing money, maximizing trading performance, scaling their businesses and attracting new sources of capital. The team created and maintained a global reporting platform and technology infrastructure which included Risk Analytics and Performance Measurement tools in addition to a suite of custom tailored solutions based on the needs and objectives of individual clients. Mr. Clapham graduated from Dickinson College in 2000 with a degree in Spanish Literature.
Bukola A. Jejeloye
Mr. Jejeloye is currently rounding up his service with United Nations Mission in Kosovo in a legal capacity in the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General. With a diverse educational background, Mr. Jejeloye's work and service has spanned over several industries and various countries. With previous stints as a business consultant, policy analyst, legal officer/associate and program/technology associate, he has worked in various public and private organizations in multiple legal, political and social systems spanning the globe including the United States, Brazil, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Liberia, Kosovo and East Timor. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (S.M. in Nuclear Engineering and S.M. in Technology & Policy Program) and Columbia University School of Law (J.D. in Law, with focus and special recognition in Public International and Comparative Law). He is active with several non-profits, professional and civic groups in the United States and abroad.
John R. Marks, IV
John R. Marks, IV received his B.A. in Economics from Harvard University (with honors) and his J.D. from Columbia Law School. As a member of the Florida Bar, he has practiced law in Florida in the fields of telecommunications, intellectual property, and health care. At Florida A&M University's School of Business, he taught business law and international commercial law. Presently, he is an instructor at Florida State University's College of Information, teaching communications, legal research, and information policy.
James A. Parrelly
Mr. Parrelly is a financial and business consultant specializing in corporate strategies; corporate acquisitions marketing & sales management; venture capital investing; private placements; and, macro economic analysis. He has served as the President of the Parrelly Financial Group for the past eleven years. For the sixteen years prior to that, he served in a series of increasingly responsible positions in the financial sector at Kidder, Peabody and Company; Paine Webber, Inc.; Hamilton Investment Corporation; and, North American Financial Services Company, culminating with his appointment as Senior Vice President and Managing Director. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Business School, and has served on the board of directors for several private and technology-based companies. He is a member of Divine Child Parish, Dearborn Country Club, Tournament Players Club of Michigan (TPC), and the Fairlane Club.
Cristina A. Velez
Cristina A. Velez is Staff Attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Wellesley College and her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School. Ms. Velez has practiced in the fields of Labor Law, Employment Law and Civil Rights Law. She has been published in the New York Law Journal. Ms. Velez has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the Political Science Department at Florida State University in the field of International Law. Ms. Velez currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida.
Ali Rahman
Mr. Rahman is a co-founder of Aleph Advisors, a boutique advisory firm focused on helping clients expand their reach in international markets through the identification of strategic partnerships and investment opportunities, and providing counsel in structuring those relationships and investments. Previously, Mr. Rahman was an associate in the Corporate & Securities and Finance practices at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. His practice focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions primarily in the energy industry. Mr. Rahman represented clients throughout all phases of project development, including the negotiation of project site and acquisition agreements, entity formation, due diligence and negotiating and drafting necessary documents. Prior to law school, Mr. Rahman was employed at the International Crisis Group, an independent non-governmental organization working through field-based analysis and high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict. He has also served at the Palestinian Authority Negotiations Affairs Department directly under the supervision of current Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, assisting in the research and preparation of strategy for the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks. He received his bachelors in Philosophy and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, his Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law and is a member of the New York Bar. Mr. Rahman speaks Arabic, English and Spanish.
